How to download Metrobank Statement of Account

For this post, I will show you how to download your Metrobank Statement of Account (SOA) or Transaction History. I will be showing steps using my android phone. But the same steps can be applied using your laptop or pc. I am using my Metrobank Debit Savings account.

So, without further ado, let's start this tutorial.

Here are the steps on how to download Metrobank Statement of Account (also Transaction History)

1. Open your Chrome app on android or Google Chrome on pc. Go to https://onlinebanking.metrobank.com.ph/secured and press ENTER. Now, enter your username and password. Press LOGIN to proceed.

2. A 6-digit code will be sent to your Metrobank-registered mobile number. Enter it on the space provided.

3. Another 6-digit code will be sent to your Metrobank-registered email address. Enter it also on the space provided.

4. Assuming that you login successfully, press Total Deposits.

5. Now, press Debit (see image below).

6. Now, press Transaction History.

7. You can set a date range if you want for more transactions to be included on the Statement of Account download. For this tutorial, I will just download the default. When done, press Download Statement.

8. You can download your Metrobank Statement of Account (SOA) as a PDF or CSV file. For this tutorial I will download it as PDF file. Take note also that your file is going to be password protected. And its password is your account last name + the last 4-digit of your account number without space. Example is reyes5678.

9. "SOA downloaded successfully" will appear after the download is done.

10. Leave your Metrobank account for now. Open Play Store.

11. Tap "search for apps & games."

12. Type "pdf reader" and press ENTER.

13. Install your selected PDF reader app.

14. When done installing do not open your pdf reader. Just leave it. Now, go to File Manager.

15. Find your SOA pdf file. It is either inside the Documents folder or the Download folder.

16. When you find it its filename should be the same as the image below. Press your SOA pdf file.

17. If the pdf reader ask for permission, just allow it.

18. If another permission is ask, allow it again.

19. Now, enter your password. Again, the password is your Metrobank account Last Name + last 4-digit of your Account Number (not the card number). Press OKAY to confirm password.

20. Done! You have successfully downloaded and opened your Metrobank Statement of Account.
