Import sites from Search Console to Bing Webmaster Tools

If you want to gain not just readers or visitors of your website or blog from Google Search results, then, you should also submit your website sitemap to Bing Webmaster Tools. And for this tutorial, I will show you how to automatically import your website including its sitemaps inside your Google Search Console account to your Bing Webmaster tools account.

Search Console is owned by Google, while Bing Webmaster Tools is owned by Microsoft. Even though Google is the most used search engine worldwide, you can still gain descent amount of traffic from Bing search engine. And to have that additional traffic, let's do the tutorial below.

Here are the steps on how to import sites from Google Search Console to Bing Webmaster Tools and automatically submit your sitemap

1. Open and login your Bing Webmaster Tools account. Inside, find and click on the inverted caret symbol.

2. In the menu that will appear, click on + Add a site.

3. Select Google Search Console. Make sure you already verified your account. The advantages of importing your website from Google Search Console account to Bing is that there is no need for site verification and your sitemaps for that website is automatically imported. Now, click the Import button to proceed.

4. In the Import from Google Search Console, click the Continue button to proceed.

5. You will need to sign in your Gmail-registered account for the Search Console that you want to access. Type your email and password and then log in.

6. In the bing.com wants to access your Google Account, click the Allow button to confirm.

7. In the list of sites, check all the sites that you want to add to Bing. The total sitemaps that will be imported is also available for you to see. Click the Import button to proceed.

8. Wait for the importing process to be finished automatically.

9. When done, you will see a message saying "Congratulations sites addition successful." You have successfully imported your selected website from Google to Bing. You will also see there what website was imported.

10. The website is now added on the list of your website inside your Bing Webmaster Tools account.
