How to remove Payment Method on Upwork

If you added a new Payment method on your Upwork and you are not going to use your old one, then, you can consider removing it on your account. And for this tutorial, I will show you how to easily remove a Payment Method on your Upwork account. So, without further ado, let's start.

Here are the steps on how to remove payment method on your Upwork account

For this post, I will be removing my Direct to local bank payment method on my account.

1. Open and log in your Upwork account. Inside, click on your Profile photo. In the menu that will appear, click on Settings.

2. If you are prompted by Upwork to enter your password and your secondary password, just enter it to proceed. Assuming that you are now inside Settings, find the User Settings and click on Get Paid.

3. Under Payment Methods, in the Preferred or Additional, you will see 3 dots near the payment method that you wanted to remove. Click on it.

4. In the menu that will appear, click on Remove.

5. Now, Upwork wants to confirm if you really wanted to remove the selected Payment Method. Just click the "Yes, Remove" confirm.

6. And you have successfully removed the selected payment method.
