How to Uninstall Microsoft Edge from Windows 11

For this post, I will show you how to easily remove or uninstall Microsoft Edge on your Windows 11 pc. Edge is the default internet browser of Windows that is why after you installed or reinstalled Windows, it is already there in the list of available programs. And, you cannot uninstall Edge by just going to Add or Remove Programs because when you right-click on it, you will just see "Change" and there is no "Remove or Uninstall" in the option.

Now, let's start this tutorial! But before anything else, please download and install first the program below.

Requirement to Uninstall Microsoft Edge on Windows 11 pc

• Uninstall Tool 3.5.10 [download here]

Assuming that you already installed the Uninstaller, continue doing the steps below.

Here are the steps on how to uninstall Microsoft Edge from Windows 11

1. Open Uninstall Tool 3.5.10. If you cannot see it, you can search for it.

2. Inside Uninstall Tool, make sure you are in the Uninstaller tab. Find Microsoft Edge in the list of available programs.

3. When you already see Edge, right-click on it and click on "Force Removal".

4. Just click on Yes to confirm the removal of Microsoft Edge on your pc.

5. Uninstaller will detect all the traces of Microsoft Edge on your pc. These includes all registry items. Press the Finish button to start removing all traces.

6. Some of the processes related to Edge is still running, and Uninstall Tool will force terminate these processes to uninstall Edge completely. Just press Yes again to confirm.

7. When done, press Close to exit.
