How to Uninstall Microsoft Edge Update Windows 11

I really do not know what is the function of Microsoft Edge Update but judging by its name, I think it is use to update Windows 11 default internet browser Edge. And upon looking inside Contron Panel's Add/Remove Program, it has a total size of 26.6 MB. And for this tutorial, I will show you ow to easily remove this one on your pc.

I have already made posts on how to uninstall Microsoft Edge itself and Webview2 Runtime. And I think the Edge Update is also related to these two programs. And removing these 3 will completely uninstall your Edge. You cannot also directly remove it using Add/Remove Programs because when right-click it, there is no "Uninstall" option, only "Change." So, without further ado, let's start.

Here are the steps on how to uninstall Microsoft Edge Update on Windows 11

1. First, you need download and install a very smart uninstaller called Uninstall Tool. Download here.

2. Assuming that you already done STEP 1, open Uninstall Tool. Make sure you are inside Uninstaller tab. Find Microsoft Edge Update in the Program list.

3. Right-click Microsoft Edge Update, and then press Force Removal.

4. In the next step, just confirm that you really want to uninstall Edge Update by clicking on Yes.

5. Uninstall Tool will also detect all related registry items for Edge Update and will also uninstall it. Click Finish to start the uninstallation.

6. Wait for awhile until the uninstallation process finishes. When done, click on Close to exit.

And you have successfully uninstalled Microsoft Edge Update using Uninstall Tool 3.5.10. Do not allow future updates on your Windows 11 pc because it will re-install Microsoft Edge, Webview2 Runtime and Edge Update. But, if you still want your Windows 11 to be updated, then, do so and after installing your updates, just remove Microsoft Edge and all related programs again using the tutorial above.
